Removing The Stock Leaf Spring Block

i have a 2007 new body style 1500 2wd silverado with a 2.25 in. leveling kit in the front and 33 in. tires. it looks good but i want a more baja truck look. there is a 1 or 2 inch block in the leaf springs that i think is stock. can this be removed to lower the back to give it a more baja look?

What he said. It can be removed, but you will need a new set of u-bolts, since the stock ones will be too long.

 

And I've never understood people going for the 'prerunner' look on an otherwise stock truck, it just looks like it's dragging ass.
