I assume that there is thread already about this but man this site is HUGE. I cant find it. I just got a 05 2500HD and am wondering if the 205-215 temp is norm? With the cattle trailer (15k) it is 210ish and going to church it's 210ish. OK? Does a cooler stat do the same as the old TBI trucks? Thanks.

That is a normal temp for todays trucks.

Stay with the proper temp 'stat. Temps are normal. Keep radiator clean and tranny cooler clean, so they can transfer the optimum amount of heat

Are you looking at the factory Temp guage? I have a scanguage so I am able to see the exact temp and when its cold out it runs at 191, and when its warm out it runs at 193. Those temps are as it running down the road.
