Figured I would post this here to see what happens. I have a '98 Yukon SLT I'm trying one last time to sell. I put money down on a newer Tahoe LT and was given a low trade value for my Yukon. I'm trying for a day or two to sell it for just $2250 or best offer to make a couple more bucks and give someone a great deal. This truck runs great, is nice and tight, 4wd works, ac cold, heat hot. Drivers leather needs replacing and it has a lean code bank 2....needs a upper plenum and gaskets, no big deal all vortec 350s will need this done. Body has barely any dings and very few scratches (no big ones at all!) also no rust. Has 172k miles, but you'd never know it if you drive it. Tranny was rebuilt at 146k with heavy duty servo, hd 3-4 clutch pack, and hardened sun gear, and any updates. Brakes good, tires 50% or little better. This is a great spare truck, dump runner, plow rig (heavier 6800 gvw instead of 6400, also rear locker, deep pan tranny, etc), winter beater, safe first vehicle for a teen, etc. $2250 or best offer is a steal.

Man thats a good price... I would hate to know what they are giving you on trade... It almost makes you ill...

I know that if it wasnt for that plenum gasket that thing would sell!!! Cause usually its recommended to replace the Fuel Injectors while replacing the plenum if they have never been replaced before..

Good luck!

Thanks!

Thing is even if you have to redo top end of motor, price is so cheap it makes it worth it. If it wasn't for me needing a newer one with 3 rows I wouldn't be selling it. This truck is driven to this day each and every day....can't find a truck used daily dependably this cheap!

Why not just keep it and try to sell it later on instead of almost giving it away for free to the stealership?

Been trying to sell the thing for weeks now at $3900, then even $3500....not even one person interested. Even had a mechanic last year say he wanted first refusal if I ever sold...went to him, he said business is too slow to have extra cash for it now.

I'm interested in it for a third vehicle. Let me talk it over with my wife and check out shipping charges.

Alright, keep me posted...I can delay the transaction for a day or two if you want it.
