Signal Issues Using Pac-1416

I just put a system in my 08 GMC Sierra. Kicker Comp 12" Sub in a Custom Box under the rear seat w/ a 450 Watt MTX Amp.

This is the first time I ever installed a Sub using a Stock Head Unit with a PAC device. I normally just rip into the wires and get my pre-amps from them but I wanted to keep my stock harness intact.

I had signal for about 5 - 10 minutes and the sub sounded awesome but then for some reason it just kicker off. I looked at the Amp first it was grounded to the Rear Seat Bolt, No Fuses were blown under the hood. So my wiring was good. The only device I have in question is the PAC.

I have a Stock Bose Head Unit w/ 6 Disk CD in Dash, w/ XM and Onstar.

I Also tested my amp and sub by putting it in my friends already wired up Jeep and It friggin Rocked!!!! Why doesn't it work In My Truck?

Any Help would Be Great

Thanks

I am giving up on my current PAC device and I am going to hack into the wires. I am not sure why other people are having success with it and not me? Its a little strange. I have been wiring up systems in cars for about 10 years now and never had an issue like this one. Well any way the Amp I have has a speaker level inputs I am going to hack into the wiring harness behind the radio and grab my inputs from there I have too much invested in my equipment to let it sit there and rot while I am trying to figure out this trucks wiring. Unless someone on here has a suggeston on another device to use? Keep in mind this is an 08 GMC Sierra with a factory Bose System w/ Onstar and XM. I have been researching this site but with no success. I am a newbee on here so still trying to figure everything out.

Questions:

Current Setup without new Radio:

Is there a device other than what I am using that can supply me with the same result, If there is where can I grab the 12v Remote from?

Where is the easiest place to grab the speaker level inputs without removing the radio?

Gut Rehab:

I am thinking of just doing a gut rehab in this thing. Radio, Speakers.... What is involved?

IE: Obtaining Stock Amp / Subwoofer, Steering Wheel Controls, XM (I have a two year paid subscription that I don't want to lose), and Onstar with new Radio. As well as add on my new equipment (12" Sub and Amp)

Any Help would be Great.....

Thanks in Advance..

Phil
