Nagivation Dvd Player? Question....

Hello All,

 

Is it possible to over-ride the shutoff of the Navigation DVD player as soon as you put the car in drive?

 

I as the driver don't plan to watch it, but I know on long trips my wife would much prefer to sit in the front seat and watch the DVD player than climb into the back to have to do so.

 

Is this possible?

There are overrides that you can buy off eBay or online stereo stores. It is a wiring harness that overrides the Nav/DVD shutoff.

 

You gotta pull your stereo out and plug the new harness to get it to work, as far as I know this is the only way to do it.

 

Try searching the forums I'm sure somebody has a write up on it.
