Witch Locking Differential Will Work For Me?

I have a 2000 silverado 2wd, 4.3 v6.

 

My g80 is broken and i wanted to get a better one.

 

 

If i get a LSD would i be able to do a 2 wheel peal??

 

should i get a LSD or a full lock.

 

i'm new at this kind of stuff.

Detroit Tru-Trac or the Auburn LSD will work fine for you.

 

Do you just want a locker so you can do burnouts with both tires?

The G80 is a gov-lock system and is not bad for a stock system, so staying OEM is an option. For a V6, 2WD I would suggest an eaton posi unit. Easy to install and very durable.

 

Any LSD, posi, locker, should allow you do to a "2 wheel peel" if you do it correctly.
