Leveling(1" Higher In The Rear)

I have seen the different brands and have heard about some actually acheiving more or less lift than specified. Maybe this just depends on the truck. My goal is to have my truck 1" higher in the back by using a leveling kit and a block in the rear that is 1" taller than stock(which i think is a 2" block?). Would i need the 2" 2.25" 2.5" kit to get these results?

I just got done installing the Rough Country 2" leveling kit on my truck. With it installed the rear is still about a 5/8" higher than the front. However, each truck may sit differently. To determine what size leveling kit you need, take some fender measurements and subtract the front measurement from the back measurement. That will tell you how much higher the back is than the front, thus determining what leveling kit you need.

...or install a set of Bilstein 5100 series shock that have an incrementally adjustable height every 1/2".

part no. BE5E376HO and forget about the rear or jack the front all the way up with them and measure what block you want in the rear, afterward.

I used a Suspension Maxx leveling kit in the front, and a Skyjacker add-a-leaf in the rear. Some guys might be getting a little more lift from cranking the t bars as high as they can, perhaps a little too much.
