can Parking Assist be added to my truck? i am not a woos but my truck is hard to park especially with the back window so dark .. do they make a backup or parking assist that i can add to my truck?

Do you mean backup sensors or that mirror mode called "curb view"? The former has quite a few aftermarket solutions, just google "parking sensors".

It would probably cheaper to add a backup camera to the vehicle. I have both the sensors and a camera. I find the OE parking sensors to be useless as you can't really tell where the obstruction is that it's warning you about or how far away you are from the obstruction.

 

On my truck I must back into my garage until I am almost touching the back wall (or I can't close the garage door). Using the sensors, it would give full warning when you are still too far away from the wall with no change in the warning tone from too far away thru contacting the wall (useless IMHO). With the cam I can easily get within inches of the wall without hitting it. Thanks to the camera, I have not hit the wall or had the door hit the truck (yet).
