Kansas Kid Posted August 27, 2001 Posted August 27, 2001 Does anybody else find it really amusing listening to Jeff Green after the Busch race on Friday? He is whining about how Harvick taps him out of the way, and that he would never do such a thing. He goes on to say that he doesn't see how Havrick can sleep at night winning a race like that. Now the funny thing about this is, that not 5 laps after the Harvick incident, Green proceeds to knock Steve Park out of his way to pass him. So not only is he an idiot, he is also a hypocrite. I can't believe that Childress wants to have him drive one of his WC cars.....
bscottb Posted August 27, 2001 Posted August 27, 2001 Childress likes drivers that knock other drivers out of the way and then says "it's just racin' "
Elwood Posted August 27, 2001 Posted August 27, 2001 The problem isn't "knocking other drivers out of the way and then saying 'it's racing'". Especially at Bristol (it's expected there). The problem is being able to dish it out and not take it. If Green was a perfect little angel on the track, then I'd say fine he can cry. But he's not, if he was he wouldn't run so well at Bristol. So, if he can do it to people he needs to be prepared to get it back and take it like a man, not cry about it.
