Bristol was awesome.  This was the first time I've ever been there.  It was great.  We had courtesy tent passes for Valvoline.  So we did have to hang out with a bunch of Benson fans at first, but it was worth it.  We got free food and drinks, as much as we wanted.  And we got to take the tour of the track.

It is awesome down there.  I knew the banking was high, but when you are right there on the track it is alot more of an angle than you think.  Of course Tom got in trouble for going where he wasn't supposed to on the track.  Hopefully he will post a few of the pics from down on the track after I send them to him, that way you can all see them.

The race was really good.  Of course it would've been better if Harvick or Rusty had won, and Jr. had had a better evening.  But I was just happy that Gordon didn't win another one.  Anybody that gets a chance should go to Bristol at least once.  It's great.

Both the BGN and WC races were good. Although I've never seen a bad race at Bristol.

I saw on the news today that Harvick will run the truck race at Richmond in two weeks, along with BGN and WC.

I watched both the Busch and Winston Cup races and enjoyed both of them quite a bit.  I used to hate short tracks, but now I've come to like them.

I watched last night with my roommate who had never seen a NASCAR race before.  I think it is safe to say the the sport now has a new fan.

Glad to see there is a new fan.  I'm slowly converting my fiancee, right now she says that she likes Ken Schrader because he's got a cool looking car, but she doesn't really like racing.  BUT she watched the last 300 laps and I wasn't with her, I was at the race.  And I'm taking her to the Winston next year.  So it won't be long.

I would've liked to went to the Busch race.  As a matter of fact we found out at around 5:30p.m. Friday that we had free tickets for it that we got with our Cup tickets.  Had we known earlier we would've gone to it too.

Yeah, Bristol was awesome!  The track tour was pretty cool.  I've always know the banking was the steepest they race on (36*), but when I seen it from the apron, I was amazed.

I'm sure that is about the most mentally draining track they race on (I'm sure the restrictor plate tracks are equally as demanding).  Every turn has someone almost losing it and spinning out, or getting a little help.

We found out a little too late, but my uncle had tickets to the busch race Friday night also.  He said Valvoline had never given them both the Busch and Cup tickets before.  I would have love to been at that race.  Oh well, I seen most of it on TV.  Still had a great time.

Yep, I'll post them when I get them, and get them scanned.

I thought both races were really good.  Only problem is I didn't get to see all of the WC race.  I was out drinking with some buddies, and there was so many wrecks during the first half of the race that I was pretty drunk about 3/4 of the way through.  I need to watch the race again to see what I missed.  LOL
