Exhaust Rattle

Ok, after I had my exhaust put on I got a rattle from one of my heat shields. Ive tried the usual bending technique, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Yes. Mount the old exhaust back on the truck.

 

Are you sure it is the heat shield(s) that are rattling? Maybe one of the pipes it too close to a heat shield and need to be bent somewhat (the pipe, not the shield).

IDK, its only at certain rpms tho, specially when the exhaust reverbs deep

Mine is doing the same damn thing. It started several months after I put my muffler on though. However, I'm not 100% sure that it's the heat shields and not something rubbing wrong. Mine does it from about 900 - 1100 RPM if the engine is under load (backing into the drive I hear it every single time!).
