So here we go, I have researched and researched and I think I have finally settled on a total out the door mods package I have constructed myself for my Onyx Black 07 NBS GMT900 Sierra Denali 2WD. 1. ReadyLift 2.25 leveling kit http://www.readylift.com/c-123-new-kit-sie...-6-lug-225.aspx 2. 275/70/18 GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor, http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/findTireD...d=18&cs=275 Raptor Series steps http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...IT&viewitem=, and finally tint the front windows the same as the back. I have been debating whether or not to put a block in the back for a 1inch lift over stock to put a slight rake back in. Bring on the questions, comments and/or bashing. Let her roll fellas tell me what you boys think! :)

All sounds good and +1 on the 1" taller rear block.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you know by chance where I can get a 2 inch block for the rear? I have searched all around and all I find are the 1 or 3 inch blocks. Our factory blocks are 1 inch right? Do you think I will need new shocks for the leveling kit in the front or (If I can find a 2 inch Block) rear?

The mods you're thinking of look and sound good. Poking around I haven't come across any 2" blocks either, but they're probably out there somewhere. The write ups on the front leveling kit don't seem to indicate a need for new shocks for the leveling kit.

Im not sure how i feel about those steps you picked out....

Take a look at the Rampage Streamline 5" steps man, i just put them on and love them. Mount the same as OEM too and come in black (i have the stainless version on my denali) :)

You dont need new shocks in the front with the leveling kit because you dont have shocks.... you have a strut

Edit: you probably wont need new shocks in the rear. after you install the blocks jack up the truck from the frame to see how much extension you get and decide from there. Im assuming you're not offroading the truck so you should be alright. For a quick check you can disconnect the lower shock mount and see how far the stock shocks extend.... that may be easier and should only take a few minutes

HMMM...What is it about the steps yall don't like? Is it because they are black and not stainless or chrome? Since my truck is black and it comes with chrome all over it (I like it just don't want to add any more) I thought the black powder coated steps would look pretty good...Also do yall know where I can get a 2 inch block for the rear? Thanks for all of your input. Also, SK1er18 does your truck sit pretty high after your level and new tires? (kinda want mine to look like an HD)..

I like the steps you picked out, wish I had gotten black instead of stainless.

There's a few things i dont like about the steps you picked out:

1) I was looking at the mounts and it looks like they dont use the OEM mounting locations.

2) I dont like the shape of them.

Being black has nothing to do with it ( :) ), the steps i told you to take a look at come in black too.... i just mentioned that i have the stainless steel version.

Also... i did not install a leveling it . I installed a 3" body lift (so yes it does sit taller... by about 3" ), my truck still has the factory rake (rear sits about 1.5" higher). My tires (275/55/20) are stock sized and didnt add any height to the truck. But my truck does sit exactly like an HD now which i love.

Thanks for the vote of confidence for the black steps! I see you live in Ft Worth, I'm in Dallas and looking to Mike's Off Road to do all of the instalation. Do you know anything about them? Also, do you have any pics of your truck? I was seriously considering going with the 265/75/18 but could not find any pics of trucks with that size and a leveling kit. Thanks for your feed back bro :)

Thanks for clearing up the steps info for me, I guess I need to take a little more time to find just the right ones! It sounds like you and I should be about the same height when it's all over with. Please le me know if you feel diffrent! Thanks again!

I'll probably still have about a half inch over you with my stock tires on. If/when i get my new 33's i'll likely be a full inch taller

There are some pics on my garage

And I don't have any experience with Mike's Off Road, I have done all the work myself so far. Love the 265/70/18 tires, be prepared for a slight hit to your gas mileage though.

BTW if you decide to go w/ the stainless bars let me know, I'll cut you a deal on mine.
