Power Door Locks

I have a problem with my Tahoe. Its a 2003 LT model, jammed with all the toys. I recently bought it and sorting through some issues. Now, I can't get the power locks, fob or interior buttons, to unlock the rear doors or rear hatch. I went through the manual and tried reprogramming the locks. Still no go. The odd time, they will unlock and lock....but not now. Not sure where to go with this. I seen a old service record of this problem with the previous owner. The dealer said something about the plug to the fuse block for the rear door locks was cleaned?

Sounds like a trip to the dealer....

I had a similar problem with our 04 Yukon, except the rear doors and rear gate would not lock. The problem ended up being the rear door relay. Apparently there is a front and rear lock relay separate from each other.

 

I had the dealership relace mine, because it was covered under my extended warranty.
