Having issues with a 2004 Chevy 2500 when filling up with fuel. Seems as if the filler neck is filling up with fuel and shutting the pump off. Multiple stations have had same issue. Any idea?

I had the same problem when I first put gas in my truck when I bought it. I just don't stick the thing all the way in there or else it shuts off like you said. I guess this Is a GM design thing :) because i've never had this problem with my Fords and Chryslers.

I have to pull the nozzle out to where only about one inch of the spout is in or it will click off forty times during a fill up. It sucks. I've just gotten used to doing it now though and it seems to work fine.
