Clock Resets, Cd Player Issues 1999 Yukon

My CD player works sometimes and most of the time the clock resets to 1:00 after vehicle is turned off. I never lose presets for the radio stations though. Any thoughts? Thanks

It sounds like there is a power issue with the radio and CD player. The radio stations are preserved in a small amount of non-volatile RAM in the radio. Whereas the time is kept going via power supplied from the truck. Without further testing it would hard to say if it's radio or the wiring harness. My guess would be that there is an issue with the radio.
