It's raining pretty hard in Charlotte right now.  There's a small window of clear skies coming, but a bigger storm behind that.  

BTW, qualifying is on FX.

It came alright.  I can't believe Ryan Newman got the pole.  Glad they didn't get rained out.  Now Jarret is at the back. I like Jarret but he drives a f**d.  Can't even spell the word, much less say it.

Looks like Newman's team may be on to something with the speed for Charlotte after last week and now this pole.  I just hope they can last, but if they can finish 30 laps in the Winston Open it doesn't look good for the 600.  I hope he does well.  But as long as Rusty and Dale Jr. do well I'll be happy.  But Newman has been impressing me everytime I've seen him, so I'm starting to pull for him too.

I'm glad they didn't get rained out also.  I almost fell asleep near the end.  I'm pretty impressed with Newman too.
