I have been searching for the location of the blower motor resistor on my 95 Silverado and have not had much luck. I removed the glove box and had a look with a flashlight and could not see it. Decided to create an account here and see if any of you had any advice. Thanks for your help-Murph

On my '94 Sierra it was located behind the glove box just behind the three relays. I removed the two screws holding the relays in place and it's right there. The resistor is held on by two screws into the top of the plastic ducting. I'm not sure if it's the same for '95.

Ok I saw the relays there. I'll go pull them and see if I can see it. Thanks

Thanks Mike. I got it replaced. Blower works on all speeds now. :D

It was located behind the relay. For future reference-

1-Remove glove box door.

2-Unplug 2 plugs(black & white) right next to relay on top of air box.

3-Unplug relay and remove 2 screws(7 mm) holding relay bracket on.

4-Remove relay bracket and you should see resistor.

5-Unplug resistor and take out 2 screws(7mm) holding it in and remove resistor. It is a very tight fit. I used a pry bar to gently pry up on the dash to give me enough room to squeeze it out.

6-Change out resistor and re-assemble.

If you have any friends with small paws I would invite them over for a beer next time and trick them into helping. Mine are still cramping.
