Cam Swap

I need some helpful suggestions. I have been looking around for a good cam with a nice choppy lope for my 4.8l silverado. now i know that i cant get to crazy in size, but i wanted some expert help on what cam/cam specs i should consider. i dont really want to swap out all the other internal parts, i just want a new cam for some added performance. please help

Bump this thread once or twice if necessary but there are some guys on here that should be able to help you out! You're going to need a good tune once the cam is in so you might think about contacting Black Bear Performance and asking them. They'll be very knowledgeable about both subjects!

206/212 115LSA would do really well in your truck. Your absolute best bet however, is to call a manufacturer and tell them what you are wanting to get out of the cam and have them tell you which one would be best suited for your needs.
