Long term predictions, here's mine.

-going by the fact that Darrell Waltrip Retired one year after his first season in a Ford, the first time in his career not racing a chevy for a while. Bill Elliott will probably retire soon. (I'm not saying this just to tick off Friz)

-Seeing as how some thought Mike Skinner will be fired and Kevin Harvick would take his place, Kevin Harvick anounced last week he'll drive the no. 30 AOL chevy next year. I do believe Skinner will be fired, I think Childress will put his son in law, (Mike Dillon?) in the car.

-Terry Labonte will probably Retire within the next 4 seasons. Hendrick will probably put Jack Sprague in the No. 5 car.

-Rusty Wallace will probably retire within 5 seasons. Don't know who will go in no. 2 after him.

Yo're not gonna tick me off.

Big Bill probably will retire in a couple of years. He's definitely past his prime, but I think he's got a few wins left in him yet.

If Skinner doesn't show something soon, he will be looking for a new job. I didn't hear about Harvick. His best bet would be to stay with RCR.

Labonte? I agree, he just doesn't seem like he's enjoying himself anymore.

Rusty? He's here for a while yet. I don't see him slowing down for 10 years.

One thing that I really hate to see is the fact that Dave Marcis is getting pushed out. He refuses to get into the big money, high profile deal and just can't afford to keep up. Did you know that he only has three full-time employees? He does a lot of testing for RCR, DEI and IROC, and that is really what keeps him afloat. He is the last of the independents and I hate to see that end.

Sorry, I got to rambling...

My biggest wish is that Ron Hornaday does well and makes it to the top.

I don't really see Wallace or Labonte retiring real soon, but you never know.  As far as Skinner, I really don't like him, but I don't have a good reason why.

How about some future stars that will be big names like Earnhardt, Gordon, Elliott, Jarrett etc.

Here's what I think:

Earnhardt Jr.  (You pretty much know he will have a ride available for as long as he wants, with some of the best equipment)

Kenseth,

B. Labonte (Maybe he already is),

J. Burton (Same as above),

T. Stewert (Hate to say it),

C. Atwood,

K. Harvick.

I can't think of anymore off the top of my head.

Friz,  do you know Hornaday or did you work for him or the team or something?

MountaineerTom,

I used to Crew Chief for a couple of local dirt cars in So Cal years ago. We had our end of the season race and Ron Hornaday was there with a Street Stock and a Limited Sportsman(Late Model in some venues). He tore up the L.S. pretty bad and since my team was camping at the track with him, I spent about half the night drinking beer with him and trying to straighten out his car. It turned out to be terminal, though. At the time Ron was the Southwest Tour Champ and was moving up to Winston West. This was around 1987, long before the Truck series began. Anyway, He was just a real nice, down to Earth guy and made quite an impression on me. I've been a loyal fan ever since.

T. Stewert (Hate to say it), Has formed his own team with Gene Hass

C. Atwood, I believe he drives in the now Nationwide Series

K. Harvick. Drives for Richard Childress

I can't think of anymore off the top of my head.

How did these predictions turn out?

(not a Nascar fan, so I have no idea).

Jr. drives for Rick Hendrick, Rusty Wallace did retire, but owns a Nationwide team, Bill Elliott still drives on occasion, Dale Jarrett retired.

The best I can do for now Jeff. I know you don't give a sh*t any how.

We got owners, favorite drivers,

Boy, that Tony Stewart's a whiner.

And we got rookies, advertisers,

Like uhhh let's say: Havoline, Target, Sharpie, Caterpillar, Nextel,

Mountain Dew, Dupont, Lowe's, Home Depot, Kodak, M&Ms, UPS, Tide, Alltel, Gillette, Kelloggs, Viagra, Dewalt, and uhhh Budweiser.

But the trophy girls still have my favorite parts.

Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.

We got cautions, we got pitstops,

You can't hear a dang thing once the flag drops.

And poor Kyle Petty, an' Swervin' Marlin, ha ha,

Are gonna find it tough to beat Mark Martin.

'Cause that Viagra car is always driven hard.

Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.

I love NASCAR, it's my kind of race.

Just watchin' jeff gordon plow up a wall,

Puts a smile on dale jr.'s face.

No caviar, it's beer and Mopar.

Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.

I like short tracks, you'll see more wrecks,

And about a million screamin' rednecks.

And ol' Jeff Burton, ha, an' poor Mike Skinner,

Well, they've done forgot what it's like to be a winner.

And Ken Schrader still ain't sure who his sponsors are.

Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.

"Hey, that was a close one up there fellas I about got into one there.

I might pull over right up here next pitstop, I want you to get two right front tires.

I need a wedge on the left side, get this windsheild cleaned, get on the gas.

And if you don't care, hand me a pair of underwear, I have messed all in my drawers."

I like football. (I like football.)

I like my wrestlin'.

I like a good game of air hockey,

I like some ping-pong now an' then.

How about you, Toby?

I love NASCAR, it's my kind of race.

Just to see Big E back on the track,

Would put a smile on every face.

No one drove a car quite like Earnhardt.

Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.

I love NASCAR.
