2004 Sierra EC Sportside with 5.3 engine. I wish they were a little less grainy but the sun, white, and chrome played tricks with the camera.

Live up near Cleveland. When I saw the pics at the dealer website both my wife and I thought ugly as hell. When I saw it in person in the light I loved it. The bottom is teal as it was a truck owned by a safety supply company and that was their colors. It's one of those love it/hate it things.

I too was never a fan of two-tones, just maybe if the lower color was a more muted color (like grey) instead of an 80's teal color, it might flow better, it's a bit harsh.

I kinda like the two-tone, but IMO it needs something to carry it over the wheel wells.

 

The rest of the truck is just way too busy for my taste, and those step bars really bother me (they look like they'd drag on a speed bump to me). De-badging the tailgate, and color-matching the GMC emblem on the grille would do wonders to clean up the look of the truck though, right now there's just too many different colors and textures.

 

EDIT: Looking at the truck again, it really isn't that busy overall, but those step bars look SO out of place to me.

The step bars are there because my kids need to climb in. The truck was just a bit too high for them to climb in without the bars. I wish the truck were a bit taller then they would look better though.

There is a whole world filled with color out there Umberto. Only Goths and Batman see grey and black as primary colors.

Your truck is not like every other one on the block. Whether it "fits" the narrow "acceptable" notch here or not... BE DIFFERENT and ENJOY IT!
