I'm not sure yet. Nothing much has happened at GM since we gave them all of that money...but the latest product to come out of GM (Malibu, CTS, 900s, Lambda's, Cruze, and upcoming models) have been absolute, top of their class, products.

 

It will be interesting to see what develops.

+1, I agree whole heartedly! Although, changes are certainly required at GM; this is an ominous omen. When the gov't hands you a lot of money...politicians will invariably seek to strengthen their position and move us all one step closer to socialism under the guise of protecting us from ourselves. JMHO.

This is great news for GM's survival. Remember, this is the guy that said GM would not go to Chapter 11, but directly to Chapter 7 & be liquidated. Typical greedy CEO thinking if he can't have it all, no one will.

 

Remember, Red Ink Rick is the guy who killed the EV1 because he said there is no future in hybrid vehicles. GM could have wrecked havoc on Toyota if it would have not scrapped the EV1 program.
