Stewart unhappy with many NASCAR decisions

By Lee Spencer - The Sporting News

To no one's surprise, Tony Stewart says he has been unhappy with NASCAR "for over a year now." But he swears he isn't ready to throw in his Hutchens head and neck restraint just yet. Stewart says he has assured team owner Joe Gibbs he is not quitting Winston Cup. "I'm just unhappy with NASCAR," Stewart says. "I think they do a lot of things wrong. For every one thing they do wrong, they probably do five things right. But there are things that can be changed that aren't being changed right now. I feel like our sport has gone from who has the best race team and the best race driver and who did the best job on Sunday to what can we do to make a great show for TV and the fans in the stands." Despite Stewart's constant denials, there still are whispers he is ready to return to the open-wheel ranks.

If he wants to go, I say let him.  Although if he keeps going the way he is, it might not be by choice.  I'm under the impression Nascar is getting pretty tired of him.  His sponser and owner might not be too far behind.  I'm not a huge fan of the way Nascar goes about alot of things and he does make a few valid points, but I'm tired of hearing him whine everytime he gets beat.
