3/4 Ton Rear End Chatter

..this truck does really well on hyway, a little stiffer than a 1500 z-71 but it's a light 3/4 ton I think..but when slowly turning to left or right (w/quadsteer off) third member binds and chatters....sorta like it may have a locker in it....maybe a bearing stuck or coming apart...? Under warranty so not going to cost anything but time away from it.....dont really think it has anything to do with quadsteer...chatters in 2 or 4 wheel steer when turning, but does fine at say 20 mph and higher speeds turning or maneuvering

It could maybe use a bottle or two/three of gm friction modifier, the clutches could be sticking, or this could be whats wrong...

thanks , friction mod is what i took it in for(an oil change) but mechs at GM said...naught....I think we'll have to keep it for a few days...doesnt make a lot of racket but is noticeable...they take it monday

got it back thurs from GM...said it needed a few gaskets seals and clutches on limited slip were worn so they were replaced...GM said this is aan isolated case,clutches dont seem to go out at 49k miles huh?
