itlbtu Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I have an '07 Silverado LTZ with the factory Nav. Will the lockpick allow me to play video off of my ipod on the nav screen? I don't have the DVD player option, just the nav/xm bose unit.
sweetba1 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 If you get the GMX 322 model. Then you will also need to buy the ipod cord. It works pretty good.

omegafiler Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 It has a set of standard RCA inputs (Video, Audio L/R). So anything you connect that uses that type of output will work just fine.
twilkie Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Did your radio need reprogrammed at the dealer to enable the backup camera function in order to play video?
cagle520 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I don't think you would need to. The only sure way to find out is grab some componet cables for ipod from best buy. Hook it into the lockpick using video 2 and see what happens. I had mine reprogramed when I installed the backup camera so I can't tell you for sure if you need to have it flashed or not. Or call coastaletech and see what they say. I had great luck with their customer service! Everytime I called they answered. But some guys on here has had hell. Let us know how it goes!

You do need to get your nav unit re-programmed. I tried to play video on the composite imputs and it doesn't work on mine. I was told that if the truck didn't come with a back-up camera it needs to be re-programmed.
omegafiler Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I already have the factory backup camera, so it worked fine. But based on the documentation I read for the GMX-322, that is very likely something you will need to have your dealer do for you if you don't already have the factory backup camera. Probably some kinda BCM update to turn that on. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a descent dealer nearby.
