I know it's popular on the old TRUCK site to make fun of Formula 1 racing... but I don't think there are many here with the balls to do this (much less the skill).

The modern master at work.

Pay close attention to the 15 second to 30 second portion of this video. UNBELIEVABLE.

Not a huge fan of open wheel, but...I don't think NASCAR races should be stopped, postponed, etc etc because of rain.

Put rain tires on 'em and let 'em go.

They are professional race car drivers.

Let them drive race cars.

I agree 100%.

I agree as well. They try to act like it's Good Ole Boy tough guy racing but the second there is a little moisture they act like a bunch of wussies at a cat show.

Like F1 or not. Those guys need giant carbon fiber cases to carry their balls in.

I like the ALMS series and the SCCA Pro stuff. There are some really good racing series here in the good old USA. I'm not too much of a fan of roundy round racing.

Gotta agree with you guys, F1 in the rain is wild. Schumacher was the master, he had some serious finesse (sp?), and BIG BRASS ONES. NASCAR tested rain tires years ago and I think they should run them on any style track, especially now that they are having a hard time filling seats.

That's some serious driving in the rain! Cool Clip! With Fred's new Gears you could keep up with him!!

I drove Fred about 200 miles today. The change is big. A real difference at just about any speed. 70MPH RPMs went from 1750 to about 2000 but that's no big deal. Low end grunt is hugely improved.

3.73 good gear choice, at times I wish I had 'em again. With the mileage I do I'll stick with the 3.42 and hope the tune wakes this little fire breathing dragon up. :P

I'm sure I would have left mine alone if it had 3.42s. Damn 3.23s were terrible

At least they weren't 3.05's, now those where airplane gears.

F1 racing is BADASS!!! Hell, at least they turn the steering wheel both ways while racing.

F1 > Nascar

I really like road racing.
