1995 Yukon will not shift out of park, Cruise control stop working, Reverse and Brake Lights do not work. All within a couple days. What could this be?

Have you checked for bad fuses or relays? Looks all you problems are in the brake circuit.

It's either your neutral safety switch or your brake switch, probably the brake one. You have to apply brake to shift from park, and applying the brake kills the cruise, and your brake switch turns your brake lights on and off. Test the wiring for power to and from both switches. This should tell you if it's a fuse/relay, or the switches themselves.

The brake switch took care of the problem of getting it out of park but the cruise control still is not working. Maybe relay? Thanks again

If the brake switch is not adjusted JUST RIGHT...it will keep the cruise from working and may be keeping the brake lights on.

The brake lights stay off until the brake is pushed. I will take another look and see if the brake light button is pushed in at all with the brake fully realeased.
