Tac To Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Harness

I am in the process of placing a GMC 5.3 Vortex "drive by wire" out of a 2002 Yukon into a 1970 FJ40 Landcrusier.

I purchased the 5.3 along with 4L60E transmission from a wrecking yard and do not have the orginial VIN.

I need to find the wiring harness cable that goes between the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor and the TAC module. I believe the cable has a 10 (2 rows of 5) wire male plug on it that plugs into the Accelerator Pedal assembly and then goes through the firewall and plugs into the TAC module.

Without a VIN number my dealer has been unable to find a part number for such a cable and is only offering me a $2,000 complete harness! They have a parts diagram that shows the cable with ID as #9, but doesn't give Part Number or allow them to get more info on just this one part.

Can anyone help me find this cable or at least a part number?

Thanks

If it is like everything else, the wires would be mixed together with all sorts of other wires in a larger harness.

What you could do is go to wrecking yards and look for yourself.

Or get a factory electrical manual (wiring diagrams) and make your own cable. This would be the best, then you could see what was connecting to what.

For the connectors, you could cut them off of a vehicle in a wrecking yard.

Or the following web site sells various pins for connectors...
