Wheel Backspace And Offset

Just wondering what offset and backspace would work best on an 04 Sierra. It's leveled and will be running a 33 inch tire on 17x9 wheel. Also, the same wheel is offered in 17x8, would this work better then the 17x9? Thanks for the help. One last question, what is my bolt pattern?

A Positive (+xx) offset with 4.5" or more of backspacing (5" optimal)...I don't think it would really matter too much, it depends on the tire...If it's only 10" wide then the 8" would work better, but if it's 12.5" or more then 9" is needed.

 

Bolt pattern...Pretty laughable considering Chevy's been using the same bolt pattern on 90% of its trucks for the last 30 years...6x5.5

if you dont want them to stick out too far use +14 to +17. Most Wheels for Chevy truck are offered in these offsets. If you want them to set out a bit, look for a 0 offset.
