Rear View Mirror W/compass And Temp

Hi, I own a 2009 silverado 1500 LS(WT), I have the basic rear view mirror with onstar. I wanted to install a 2009 rear view mirror with auto dim/ compass/ temp. I have a 16 pin connector on my current mirror, with only 5 wires going to the connector.

1-7,9,12,15,16 -not used

8-black

10-brown w/white stripe

11- yellow w/black stripe

13- green w/black stripe

14- green w/ white stripe

 

Will this work with the new mirror or will I have to do more wiring to have it work?

Not sure if their is existing wiring anywhere else tucked away on this model truck.

no you will either need the harness from the new mirror or you will have to make one out of wire and the wire taps that slide into the harness plug. I did this swap on my truck having the harness of course and it was a snap... if you got any Q's hit me with a PM.later

I have one if you want to buy it off me. I replacement my upgraded auto dim mirror with the rear view camera one. Let me know in private message if you need it.
