Grinding/scraping Noise From Front Suspension

I have had my 2009 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Diesel for about 6 weeks and 3500 KM. I am getting a metal on metal scraping noise coming from the front driver's side wheel well when going over bumps, gradual curbs, etc. at around 10-20 km/h. The mechanics at a local GM dealer have had my truck for the past 6 days trying to determine the problem. Using chassis ears they think that it was the upper control arm grinding against the frame mounts, and replaced it. I picked my truck up and it is still making the same noise, and have been told to drive the truck for a couple of weeks to see if the sound "grinds" itself away. The mechanics didn't see any wear marks on the frame or old control arm, so could it be something else? Anyone else having a similar problem and getting nowhere with the GM Customer Care Line?

Woa....take it back to the dealer! Get it exchanged, don't wait! Drive it till the grind sound goes away?! Wow! That's not something I'd wanna hear about my NEW truck/car!

I've tried to get my money back, or get into a new truck; unfortunately in Canada we don't have good lemon laws like in the US.
