04 Tahoe

I have a 04 tahoe with a 5.3 and its a 4wd well I think its more of a awd set up. I have never seen a set up like this before it has 4lo button but no 4 hi or 2 hi. so is it a awd cause it stay in 4wd all the time here is a pic of my 4 wd buttons so tell me what you think about it

My wife's Tahoe is the same...it is in 2wd untill 4wd is needed and it automatically goes into 4hi. Ours has stabilitrac or whatever, i'm sure yours does to, best vehicle i've ever driven in the snow/ice!
