Center Speaker Install

Has anyone tried to install a center speaker in the Bose system yet. I have a 2008 Yukon XL with the 9 speaker Bose/Nav system and would like it to be like the Denali Bose Centerpoint system. I was wondering if it was just a speaker add and a reprogram at the dealer. I ride in a friends Denali and it sure sounds better. The Nav headunits look the same????

  MJM 1957 Thank you for your reply ! How often does the oil pump need to be primed .? So far I only notice this noise when the truck has been sitting overnight . Is there a length of time the truck sits before it will make that noise and do the prime again ?

  What issues are the 3.0 diesel facing? When I bought mine all my research showed the diesel was the engine most likely to be worry-free, if you use the right oil and only use top tier gas.

  I'm thinking of getting a Scan Gauge or whatever you call that instrument to mount in the above truck to see all the information while you are driving . Because our truck is a Custom Trim Level to see Fuel Consumption , Transmission Temp etc. I need to turn the little knob on the instrument panel and rotate it to search . Not the best when driving down the road in my opinion What one are you fellas using ? What is a good make to purchase for the truck ? Thank you !

  I honestly have no idea. These days I don't work on anything built after 1994. Based on what is shared with me from those still in the industry, this is par for the course - noises, rattles, ticking, etc.. Probably better posting that in the 2024 truck forum so fellow owners can chime in with their experiences. This section doesn't get as much eyes on it.
