Wiper Arm Repainting

I want something close to factory finish (satin'ish looking) that has good wear resistance. I know how, just want to see what results you folks have had "from the can" and what products offered the best results and looks.

Before I traded in the 97' Tahoe I repainted the wiper arms using a matte black enamel paint. I didn't take any pics at the time, but they did turn out well.

I completed the job yesterday. I went to the local body shop and they suggested the Dupli-Color Trim Paint $7 (lacquer) and then follow that up with a coat of wax.

 

Did just that and they look factory new again.
