Air Bag Light

Yesterday comming home from work I hit a pot hole in the road with the back passenger tire and two miles later the air bag light comes on. Any idea what this might be?

If you hit hard enough it could have interrupted the inertia switch. Get it scanned man. You don't want your airbags going off unexpectidly, or worse not going off at all if you need them to.

the error reader didnt bring anything up when I hooked it up. Disconnected battery and nothing.

What are you using to read codes...not one of those cheapy OBDII hand held I hope. They will only read engine codes...at best.
