Debadge A Little On The 07

I just finished a little debadging of the 07 Sierra. It isn't much but enough for me. I remove all emblems off the tailgate and remove the little gm ones off the doors. Maybe some day I might remove the door sierra but I like one there for now. Plus the Z71 is staying on because I paid for a Z71 it is staying. I might replace it with a gray one to blend in more.

And yes I did think about powder coating the grille but I drove without the grille for a week and think it was too much black on the grille with the chrome bumper. If my bumper was powder coated black then the grille will be too.

Keep going!

I know I should but I like what I left on it for now. I think the sierra on the door looks better with out that square gm badge. And I like the Z71 sticker but might switch it to a gray one.

I can see what you're saying. And I didn't say it before, but the grille really looks great. Probably the best GMC front end I've seen.

Someday they might but for now they will stay. When I buy the gray ones I might remove the stock ones and see how I like it.

I don't understand this reasoning? You also "paid for" the Edge Evo, but I don't see the sticker they sent you with it on your truck?

Just because you remove the Z71 stickers, doesn't mean it won't be a Z71 still. Or did you pay fo the Z71 because of the cool stickers and you want everyone to know it's a Z71?

The only logical reason for keeping the stickers on is if YOU like them. If this is the case, then leave'em on. But since you are a "debadger", I am willing to bet you would like it better with them removed. I know I do.

No I didn't buy it for the stickers!!! I just like the Z71 stickers on it.

Also this is the first truck that I removed more than half of the emblems off of it. On my last truck I just removed the door molding but didn't remove the emblems. So I am not a true "debadger". What I left on my truck is what I like on it for now.

I didn't mean any offense, I hope you didn't take it that way. If you like them, then that's great, leave'em on. You'd be fool to remove them if you like them just because a bunch of us guys told you to remove them (cough*remove'em*cough).

Hell, if that were the case, my bug deflector would be long gone.
