  1. No idea. I'd start at Crutchfield or your local car audio shop and see what they can do. If it were me, I'd have bought a bench truck to start and then have done the GM Kicker upgrade if I wanted more sound.
  2. I dont think you will be able to. That sub is designed to fit under the full console. You'll have to go aftermarket and get a bypass harness and do an amp/sub under the rear seats.
  3. ...was looking to see what the 3 post OP had to say since they've got a personal issue here and 3 different threads they made within the same time period...just today....and then regurgitating that some owners on facebook and other forums have issues which is a small number out of total ownership of 3.0 Duramaxes.
  4. If the plugs all line up, then it should be okay to go.
  5. The 2023 one would be nice to get as its got the updated block and bottom end. Its the Turbomax spec L3B. Same RPO code "K", GM never changed it. I see a couple issues. 1st issue that I see is if you got a new engine from GM, there is an updated ECM calibration required for a new crate that services 2020-2022 non Turbomax/HO engines. What it does, I have no idea. I do believe the new replacement engines are also of the Turbomax spec but don't change to that tune spec. 2nd, 2023 is GM Global B computer platform, so if any changes were made to the connectors or sensors, those won't compute to your truck which is Global A. The other thing on that 2023 is there is a ground strap that is on the 2020-2022 engine that is not present on the 2023-up engine. So ideally, you'll want the right engine to be safe.
  6. The wheels are 50/50 shot. Its not the offset that's the issue, its the casting of the spokes. So they'd have to pull a front wheel and fit one of yours and see if it hits the caliper. 9 times out of 10 older factory wheels won't clear the front calipers on these new trucks because of the inside of the spoke cast shape. Hits the caliper. Needs wheel spacers to fit.
  7. Wait...are you talking the 5ft8in box? They've never done that on a regular cab. I might have misunderstood your reply. RCSB = Regular Cab "short"/"standard" box (6ft6in box). RCLB = Regular Cab Long Box (8ft box). Out of habit I guess I've always referred to the RCSB as a short box but technically yes its the standard box. Ram never made a 5ft box regular cab either. Just the standard 6ft 4in box or the 8ft box.
  8. You aren't missing much. I have it in my 2025 Equinox EV which has the AutoSense and it drives you nuts. Any time you walk by the back of the truck, if you are in the path long enough to hit the 4th beep it opens. It opens way too easily and unwantedly. If you "gotta" have it, GM will be of zero help to add it, so don't even bother going that route.
  9. ...but they do...currently...Chevy, GMC and Ford. Ford is the only one that has a V8 RCSB though...
  10. Chevy still? Dealer can add the factory remote start if so. 85768274 if the truck does not have the power release tailgate, or 85773997 if it has the power release tailgate. Gets you access to use it with the MyChevy app if you have onstar on that new truck as well.
  11. And the codes are???
  12. Scan for codes. Need to start there first.
  13. Hopefully your system has leak dye in it still? A black light will help find the dye at the leaks. Yea condenser leak is probably the most common issue on the 2014-2018 generation 1500s. Next common would be the one hose off the compressor or the compressor itself. 2014s used to crack that hose near where it attached to the compressor if I'm not mistaken. EDIT: Here's the PI for that line cracking - temp.xml It can spray dye all over the hose and compressor if it happens.
