8.1 Cam Installed

I just got my truck back from having a comp cam towing cam installed and wow what a difference it made. I used the crane cam programmer just to see what kinda of results would come from a handheld programmer with a cam and it seems to work very well, no detonation or anything. Just one problem though when I first start it up I have to feather the throttle for 10-15 sec and u can see in the tach when the computer decides to idle. If I just start it; it fires fine and when the rpms are dropping to stock idle it hesitates and stall unless I keep my foot on the gas but 10 sec later I can let off and it will idle fine. Is the computer just trying to make adjustment and is having trouble or will it eventually go away? Thanks for the help!
