Does anyone know the option code for trim level SLE. I have a reg cab but it doesn't have the SLE tag on it, even though it's a loaded truck, upgrade interior, alloy wheels, pwr windows, rear defog, CD etc. I don't know if someone removed the SLE tag or what. I noticed that the code list has YE9 on it and I know this is the upgraded trim, but does this mean it's an SLE? Waz up?

I just went and found a lookup Rich (MS3DALE) did for another guy on here and he lists:

YE9 - SLE/SLT DECOR

Find Rich (PM him) and ask him nicely to run your VIN and he'll give you about as much info as you'll ever get about your truck. Service history, RPO codes, etc.

The SLT is usually the higher quality vehicle. Are you sure you mean SLE?

Yes. There's the basic truck with rubber mats and roll up (manual) windows, there is also a W/T package (work truck), then the first upgrade decor package is the SLE. THis question is in reference to proving to a loan officer that this is an SLE which has more loan value to prospective buyers. Even though this is a loaded pu, it does not have the ID tag on it, so the loan officer is looking at it as though it were a plain truck and not loaning as much on it and the options have no add on value in the NADA book.

That's what Rich showed for another vehicle on the site so I think you are safe. Ask rich and he'll provide you with a full list of options that you can take directly to the bank. Rich's info comes from the internal GM system.
