  1. Finally got rid of the stock tires and got some 305/55/20s on the ride! Loving the new look. Probably going to get some bora spacers until/if I get get new wheels. Pictures are edited because lighting has sucked in Tampa the past couple days. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

  3. Here it is on the truck. I outlined it in brown but...on black tint it's hard to see. The badge is just for reference. Not to bad I don't think for my first time cutting a decal. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  4. I've seen a lot of people talking about the centinnenal bowties. What about the vintage gmc logo. I thought they looked pretty cool. I used the wife's machine and cut me one out. I will be applying to the truck tomorrow, thinking about center of the rear window right under the 3rd brake light. Feedback is much appreciated.the truck is emerald green, that's why I went with the off white color. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  7. Wow, I'll definitely interested when you get this together. I'm not electrical savvy by no means but I can land some USB cables if I have a part number or link to order from LOL

  11. Here's the links to the lights I picked up. Reverse: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HRI948Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 License: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-White-168-194-2825-9-SMD-LED-Bulbs-License-Plate-Lights-for-Silverado/182134428502?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 COB is circuit on board which is the latest generation of led technology and tend to outlast older style LEDS like SMD and resin captured single diodes. Also with COB LED's you get more lumens with less power consumption. I not only run those lights but also use COB LED's for my interior accent lights and my bed lights.

  12. My understanding is that with the DPS swap they already did, I now have the right harness. All I have to do it swap out the mirrors. Easy, probably. A few things... 1. I _really_ don't want to take apart both doors on a two month old truck. I'm handy, but have never been good at "detail" work. I'm bound to break something. 2. I would still have to buy the mirrors. That's over $1,000 out of pocket. 3. As part of the sale, the dealer agreed to swap the factory DL3s for DQS. I have it in writing. That means i can get it done at no cost (depending on how you look at it, I have already paid for it). ADI did give me back the original mirrors and original harnesses. My last resort is to work a deal where I get some kind of credit/money for selling those (and the DPN mirrors) back to the dealer to pay for the DQS mirror, which it seems I can order myself. If I can break even on that, I would have to ignore #1 above and try it myself. For now, I'm just hoping to get what the dealer has already agreed to. ADI is the only obstacle. If I can find the documentation to prove them wrong, problem solved.

  13. If you remove the jump seat harness, you’ll find a USB Cable and a 6-Pin connector. It’ll look like this below. This is all you need to get the USB Hub working. For the 12V Cig lighters, there will be (2) you’ll have from the jump seat harness. This can be used to feed any (2) plugs in the console. Under your AC controls... you’ll find the connections for the 110V outlet and another 12v Plug. Those can be used to feed the the front of the console. The only thing remaining at that point is the front USB Receptacle and (1) 12V Plug left without a feed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Sounds good... I've had a console just sitting in my garage for months and have yet to start installing it. Was thinking of ripping out harness in jump seat and just taking the console to my local audio store that did all my radio upgrades for over the last 10 years. I bought a plate that eliminates the usb up front and just has 2 12V and the 110 cutout. I use an adapter in my 12V so I can quick charge my Samsung. Plus, as long as usb in console works, I'm ok w that! (Never used the usb in jump seat) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  15. With his harness, you really can do this yourself! It's not hard AT ALL. Plug and play! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  16. I would have the dealer install the DQS mirrors and give me the harnesses, and I'd install them myself. That's the easiest and best way to go at this point.

  17. I am trying to figure out a harness that will be Plug and Play. I think I am almost there or will get it as close to Plug and Play as possible. The issue is that I am finding (2) different connectors under the passenger seat... based on year and options. I am hoping to get mine done like how the factory would have done it, but I have some ideas on how to make very close to PnP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. If someone is near Fort Myers, FL area that can do this, I'd pay you guys to do it for me when I'm ready to do it. I can definitely remove the current bench seat but when it comes to connectors and splicing, i'd rather not screw around with electrical

  20. I have to disagree, it's personally just the luck of the draw. I installed my 2.5 rc lift on my 14 when it was brand new, I'm at just a little over 52k with ZERO problems. My truck has been on some very rough roads and was used as a farm truck for several years. I wouldn't let something like this push you away, equipment failure (or premature wear if you must) is very real despite how new a truck is lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Finally got my new wheels and tires installed today at 4 Wheel Parts! Went with 20x9 (0 Offset) Pro Comp Quick 8 Series 48 wheels and BFGoodrich K02 305/55R20 Tires on a Trail Master 2.25" front strut level (level installed about 1-2 weeks ago). Very happy with the looks and quality of this setup, 4WP was a huge help with tire size and making me a he*l of a deal! Also just got my Boost Auto Parts tow mirrors installed last night and am very happy with the quality and performance as well as Adam's cus tomer service at Boost!

  32. Joined this forum because of my chevy shakes 3 years ago. Followed this thread since the beginning and of course the only people chiming in are the ones with troubles. On the road a lot for my job so asked hundreds of 2014+ silverado owners I have met in the last 3 years and every single one of them said they had no vibration problems. My company now has more than 50 2014 + silverados in our fleet and I have asked all the guys who drive them if they have vibe problems and all of them say no. Re-balancing the tires took care of half my shakes and over the last 25k miles they have lessened to some degree. I see you only have 2 posts so that means you joined because you have the vibe problems and you are pissed off about it but just because yours has problems does not mean the other 3 million K2's on the road have them. You can choose to believe that every truck has or will have the same problem as yours or you can face reality and do what you can to fix it or move on to another brand of truck. Best of luck to you.
