  1. Has anyone tried CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor on the frame where the factory wax fell off?
  2. This is just part of the intake nothing can really be done to quite it down. I have same sound but when I put the rubber plug in it made it a little quieter but I still hear it. I also have a Corsa exhaust and the v4 is turned off so the noise isn't from V4 drone. With the exhaust it isn't that bad to me. I really only here it when I step on it but I think it sounds good with the exhaust.
  3. I think a 14-15 1500 would also have a gap. From pictures of 1500 and Hd looks like the chrome grill surround comes up higher on the and just slightly. Im going to go check some out at the dealer to see if they are before I get into this mod. HD grille is in pic below on right 1500 on left
  4. I would love to do this mod next but after looking at the part#s for Sierra hoods the 1500 part is the same 2014-17 and 2500 has a different part than the 1500 for the non scoop hood which makes me think the HD hood design is slighty different than the 1/2 ton. I always thought they were the same and the grill was just taller on the HD but the suround must be a little bigger than 1500 which would leave the gap in the pics
  5. Here's my 2014 Sierra SLT 6.2 w/ 6" BDS Fox coil-over lift(front lowered to 4.5" of lift"), Toyo RT 35x12.5 r 20, NFab Stainless nerf bar steps, Corsa Sport exhaust, AFE momentum GT intake, Katzkin interior full leather no vinyl, color matched emblems, retrofitted 2016 LED headlights and taillights, Rigid D series fog lights.

  7. Fox has shocks available for stock height trucks. The Bilstiens are also great shocks and not as pricey as Fox.
  8. Mine rides great with the BDS leaf springs and Fox shocks. It tows really well also. The truck isn't bouncy or doesn't feel squirmy which can happen with lifted trucks. I just towed my friends 7000lb boat and rear only squated about 3/4 inch. I actually think the BDS springs with Fox shocks rides better than the factory max/tow leaf springs. Stock it felt stiffer in the rear.
  9. Mine is at 43 front and 44.75 rear. I lowered my front coilovers 1.5" so they were 44.5 originally. Sounds like you may have the 4 in coilovers but I prefer a little higher in the rear so it doesn't sag when hauling or towing
  10. Mine has the factory block in with the BDS springs and was only 1/2-3/4" of rake. They say their springs will settle a little but not mor ethan 1/2".
  11. I have the same setup and I only had 1/2-3/4" rake. I lowered my coilovers because I wanted 2inche of rake for towing. Your amount of thread looks the same as mine did. Is there a taller block in the rear maybe? What are the fender measurements?
  12. I have factory 20s with 35x12.5 toyo RT on a BDS 6in lift but I lowered my coilovers to be at 4.5" of lift. I just trimmed the front air dam a little.
  13. Yes the 2016 SLE headlight housing have the ballast and bulb included in the housing. If you went with the SLE HID housing you do not need separate morimoto ballasts or bulbs. The SLE housing are mush cheaper than the SLT/Denali full LED housings. The 2016 SLT/Denali housing all LED's are contained in the sealed housing. You just need an adapter harness for either housing. The 2016 taillights you need an adapter harness and the resistors are integrated into the harness.
  14. 2016 SLE are HID low and high beam headlights with LED DRL and incandescent turn signals 2016 SLT/Denali are LED low/high beam headlights with LED DRL and LED turn signal
  15. All 2014 and up GM truck 20inch wheels are 9inches wide. 2013 and earlier are 8.5inches wide.
  16. So far just my truck and horacio have the flickering issue and we both have 6.2 engines no one with 5.3 has any issues
