  1. Jokes on them. I'm sure someone will buy them.
  2. There are dozens of these on dealer lots marked down $4-7k right now... I can't figure out why anyone would order one. I know another guy who has been waiting 3 months... for a Shadow Grey Crew Can Custom... there's like 5 on dealer lots within a 20 mile range The custom has a handful of option packages/items and a handful of colours. You could even get one transfered from another dealer. Makes no sense to order a run of the mill truck other than to say you custom ordered it... 3 dealers around me are offering huge discounts on their trucks on the lot. Shop around. No point waiting for something thats in stock
  3. I'd rather wait for a tune, although I have heard lots of good things about the pedal commander and the sprint boost. Not familiar with hypertechs version
  4. I considered the 3.0L D-max but with its slow release and no reviews to date (obviously) I am alot less interested now seeing that it is the same price as the 6.2L which is an all around beast. I'm assuming the 0-60 on the 3.0L might be as slow as 9 or 10 seconds.
  5. WATERCARBON HSK150 Deluxe Automobile Heated Seat Kit - same factory as Dorman
  6. I'll gladly pay the $350 for an opening console to save $5k over the premium for the LT. But I agree it should be an opening console on the custom and custom TB. ($350 for a console, $40 for LED headlights, $80 for heated seats...all stuff I'd rather get from factory)
  7. I wouldn't do exhaust without tuning. I had a straight through muffler put on my 08' 5.3 and lost 25 ft-lbs of torque that took a custom tune and $300 to gain back 27 ft-lbs LOL. Not worth it. Horsepower gains were free'd up higher in the rpm range but not worth the low end loss.
  8. ** Just talked to Diablew (Lewis Eaton) and he says he can tune the 5.3L AFM with 6 speed auto - no go on the 5.3L DFM with 8 speed auto. Not now and possibly not ever.
  9. +1 on this. I picked up a used Diablo InTune for $210 and put the 87 octance tune on along with an Airaid Intake (MIT with K&n Drop in)... pretty noticeable difference. Transmission is alot quicker and firmer, and has smartened up alot. Truck is noticeably quicker also. HP wise, maybe 15-18hp between the two mods....But I am looking to have Lew at Diablew do a custom tune for me!
