    Mine too....... had audio alarms but no dash indication, occurred two times and lasted just a second or two.

    Mine the day I brought it home, 11 months and 8,000 miles later and still love it. Other than a GMC tip, Aries 3D floor mats and GM cloth bag for a place to put trash, it's stock.

    Excuse my ignorance, but does replacing hardware require digging into the MyLink unit? My only issues are slow response and a/m hd reception.

    In reference to full width balance on the tires, do you mean balance weights placed on the inside and out side of the wheels? Years ago when I would have new tires installed I always insisted that the weights be placed on the outside and inside of the wheel and I never had an issue. If the installer was lazy or just ignorant and placed the weights on one side only it always resulted in a shaky ride. How did you find out about the cardboard resonator in the d/s? That's new to me. BTW, mine doesn't the dreaded shake.

    Extend and slam the headrests a few times, worked for me.

    No problem...I generally don't rotate unless there are some unusual wear patterns, otherwise I leave them be.

    I'm not a fan of tire rotations but if you do it I suggest front to back rotations, criss-crossing just invites trouble.

    3.08 on mine and smooooth.

    My 2012 Sierra I traded had a "flywheel" appearing device attached to the driveshaft, I wonder if it's purpose was to minimize vibration and/or stabilize the drive shaft and if it could possibly be the solution???

    I installed Aries 3D front floor mats, the OEM's were just too "industrial" appearing plus my shoes kept hanging up on the oversized ridges and heel pad. These fit perfect and look fantastic.

    This is just a shot in the dark and worth a try.......flip the driveshaft 180 degrees and see what happens.

    Sorry.....just type in "driveline vibration", GM isn't the only one with issues.

    www.youtube.com has some interesting videos of driveshafts in action and complaints of vibration. I see how this could possibly be the issue some are having. Worth a look.............

    Just completed a 3 day road trip, San Diego to Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, over 2 High Sierra passes, sea level to 8000 + ft, 27 to 95 degree temps and a fierce headwind north on Hwy 395, very little V4 mode majority of the trip, no issues or problems, smooth, quiet and comfy, still an awesome truck.

    Let us know. The AFM feature was one of those things I thought I wouldn't like but it is so seamless that I'm going to leave it be.

    Mine was also making a noise too, hard to describe, like fluttering (?).......I noticed the big plastic splash guard under the front end was rubbing on the frame so much that it made a shiny spot.......I isolated it with a thick piece of weather stripping and have not heard anything since.
