  1. When did you buy/when was it put into service? Sounds like you are good on miles as far as the 36/36000 warranty.
  2. Hmmm, much like the new T1's, I might buy one/some in the future, only live once...... (Yes, i changed it up a little, to just keep the wheels turning)
  3. Welcome to the site. Just a few questions, do you have a 5.3, or 6.2, no 5.7 in the K2's, are you referring to AFM, DFM is for the T1 platform, and 18 wheel/tire combo will be the same circumference as the 20's you have now, so that will male no difference. Define what you mean by cylinder drop? Any load on the engine, and AFM will not let it go into V4 mode.
  4. Welcome to the site. Sounds like your HMI module might be failing. Only replaceable, not fixable.
  5. Good to know, thanks for the information. Probably will still wait for Labor Day weekend to see how hot it will be, then give it a shot.
  6. And then this for the rear.
  7. Buy a set of the OEM bowties, and then do this for the front one.
  8. Did the instructions say that it would take 50 minutes? I have the 20 editions, but have not installed them because really don't want my truck idling in 90 plus degree weather while it updates from an hour.
  9. Congratulations on the new "sport truck", and congratulations on the twins!!! Great looking SUV!
  10. Yea, wax on, wax off, might get me in trouble too....
  11. I should take the bait, but I will get in trouble with the powers that be on the site....
  12. Yikes, that is no good. Maybe check a local "junk"/car recycling yard to see if they have any used GM radios cheap that have the same buttons as yours. They are used in many models. Pretty sure the knobs should come off, could scavenge parts from the donor radio.
  13. No, they only work with the cargo lamp switch in your center stack, do not work with reverse lights at all in the GM trucks (just 2 bulbs). Your switch controls the CHM lights, and the 2 under rail LED's in the bed, only time they work is when you turn on the switch.
  14. You are paying for the mods on the one you are looking at, hard to compare a stock versus customized truck in price.
  15. White lights are your cargo lamps, not tied to the reverse lights, unless you do that mod. I would check the bulbs (red ones) to see if they have burned out.
  16. Welcome to the site. Take a picture of the button and post it, so we can see what it looks like. It may have just moved and is trapped under the lip of the dial.
  17. I was wondering which category he sees himself in?
  18. The OP has the (thinking the 6.6) gas engine, unit has the Duramax, he will get better mileage in most cases.
  19. Off topic, that is a great looking set of toys!!!
  20. Keeps the oil fresh, as you are always adding, adds to the life of the engine and lower costs in maintenance. Had the same experience with my 73 Vega, spent more on oil a week than gas, never even thought about changing the filter, since it was always new oil in the engine.
  21. Just wondering when/if we should have a parade for the purchase of your new Ford..... Congratulations, hope you enjoy your new tuck (being serious, first part just joining in with the herd)!!!
  22. Shift Lever 22857352 1 $68.04, should work with your truck no problem.
  23. No dip stick/tube on the 8 speeds.
  24. Welcome to the site. May want to change the batteries in your fob. Coming up on 5 years old if you have not changed it.
