  1. The Toyo RT is the direct competition for the Nitto RG.
  2. How far do you drive every day? For how long? This is a big thing to consider.
  3. I put the standard steps on. I was going to get the extreme but they are on national backorder. I figured I would give these a shot. 5 year 60K warranty. You don't want the XLs unless you have a 6" + lift on your truck. Factory steps remove easily. The Amp install is pretty in depth if you want to do the install cleanly and properly. It took me 4.5 hours and I am a "handy" guy. -Eli
  4. Installed my Amp Powersteps yesterday.
  5. I believe this programming is more aggressive in the new 10 speed. Put it in sport mode and drive it hard. It REALLY holds gears then. I have other vehicles with ZF 8 speed transmissions and they both do this as well. They will also use grade logic to decide when to shift. Ever notice it will hold gears longer when you are going up an incline?
  6. This is completely normal behavior. The TCM holds the gear during "spirited" acceleration until it knows what your intentions are. It saves having to upshift and then downshift right away again.
  7. Just so everyone realizes..... All the throttle sensitivity adjustment does is change the curve on how much the throttle body is open vs pedal input. It makes it "feel" more responsive at part throttle but it is much harder to modulate the power. If you have the sensitivity turned up you will notice a nice surge of power at part throttle but it will feel flat when you step into it more because the throttle body is already open more than it normally would be. I prefer to leave mine at the stock setting and control it with my foot. -Eli
  8. I have had 4 or 5 Borla systems in my day and none of them have had any drone. Same with with 6.2/10 speed. There is a difference between exhaust sound and a drone that resonates throughout the cab. If you want less sound inside the cab than the Borla Touring offers your only choice is stock. -Eli
  9. Bumping this thread. I am really looking for pictures of these installed. Thanks!
  10. They are on the GMC accessories page. They are EXPENSIVE. I was going to get some but they are too close to the price of an AMP powerstep and I would rather have those.
  11. No figure out how I can keep my task lights on in drive. ?
  12. You dont have to trim it. The lower part un-bolts.
  13. I took some pics this morning of my truck next to a 21 to show some differences. The new "high clearance" assist steps are very nice. Also, the ride height looks quite a bit taller on the 21. My truck has 3K miles on it. The difference looks to be more than just the tire size. (275/65R18 vs 275/60R20) It could be a combination of suspension settling and the 1" tire diameter difference.
  14. My connectors went together perfectly. Those that are having failures... are you running a non stock throttle setting? -Eli
  15. The device held its settings. The truck never actually "changes" any programming. The Pulsar intercepts the signal and modifies it. Its a piggyback. -Eli
  16. I thought that I wanted Satin Steel. After owning this truck for 4 months I like this color better. -Eli
  17. There is a 21 AT4 at my dealer with 20" Territory AT tires on it. EDIT: Those might be Trailrunners
  18. If you are at all "concerned" that it "might" be too loud then a muffler delete is not for you. It is loud. Not open headers loud, but its louder than most of the aftermarket systems out there. I have had a lot of loud modified vehicles in my days. On this truck, at my age, I find the Borla Touring to be perfect. I would not want anything louder. You know what they say about opinions though..... -Eli
  19. So, as of now noone has answered with the part numbers for 2020 NHT leaf packs. I am interested as well. -Eli

  21. I prefer the stock setting. With the 6.2 and 10 speed its hard enough to take off smooth the way it is.
  22. Shot some pics up at deer camp last week..... -Eli
