There also have been some reports of the internal muffler rattling, mine is doing it, just waiting for another reason to,go to the dealer to get it replaced.
You hook the black box up to a PC or laptop, it asks you Stock Tire Size, then new tire size, you then hit program, wait for it to do it's thing, then plug it inline with the harness of the truck. 10 minute process.
Not plugged in to the port, it’s plugged in to the harness under the dash, easily removed, program it on a pc before you plug it in, plug and play, easy.
There's not much of a difference as I have a High Country w/ 22's. My Nitto T/G's ride just as well and very minimal noise difference but looked way better and handled the rain and snow way better. I ran 305/45/22 so a little wider but basically the same height.
I ran 305/45 Nitto TG's on my 22" wheels and noticed no difference in ride, but I did notice a bit more noise but it wasn't bad at all and was well worth it when it came to traction and appearance to me.
Well it actually towed great, it appeared to be an older trailer but it had new tires on it. The surge brakes worked well and seemed to be very light. I had it up to 71 MPH loaded and it did just fine. I’d rent again if needed, and only cost me $60.00 for the day.
Picked a new weekend toy today, drove about 100 miles with empty trailer and 100 miles back loaded. Averaged 11.5 MPG for the whole trip. Towed like a dream, first time towing with this truck.
Your truck can do it in my opinion, but you are close to it's limits and with inclines and declines I'd feel much better if I were in a 3/4 ton with better brakes, I'm not concerned about suspension, brakes are the big thing in my opinion.
Just my .02
I’d love to turn nine in to turn signals as well, I wonder if there is some amber tint that could go over the clear lens? But I guess first task is getting the lights to work with the turn signals, Boost, where are you?
Ok, I’m jealous, my 14 C7 Premier edition may have to go once those C8’s become readily available for a reasonable cost, I’m assuming once the Z06’s come out they’ll be a lot of C8’s around for sale.
