  1. No updates to add CarPlay unless you change out the radio and HMI modules. CarPlay wasn’t available until 2016 sometime on the trucks. It’s a different hardware so an update won’t get you what you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You could try disconnecting the battery for about 5-10 min or pull the glove box out and remove the HMI’s navigation antenna connection. It should be the small blue one all the way to the drivers side when looking at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve got LED reverse lights in my 15 Sierra with Jon issues. I bought the JDMs off Amazon and am super happy with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The rear bumper is bent up, the wheels are toast from lack of care, the roof is bent up, and it’s got some sort of tuner on it I’m assuming because of the dial switch on the center console. I’d most def pass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’d personally run from that thing. With the damage on the roof, it tells you it was either abused or someone didn’t care enough about their vehicle to get it fixed. $34K seems like a lot unless it has little to no miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. GM has an app for this but I don’t think it will show you if it’s running or shut off after initial start up. I know you can only remote start it twice without inserting the key. As far as the other settings, depending on which radio you have you should be able to set all of those except the defrost in the vehicle setting page. I don’t know if a defrost setting that can be activated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Seems like it would work just fine. I’d be curious as to what others think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The first iPhone to offer wireless charging was the 8. Anything below that doesn’t accept wireless charging without a special case on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m guessing your new tires and wheels are heavier than your old ones which is causing a significant drop in mpg’s. You are running 8 cyl all the time now rather than 4 on occasion so of course your mileage will drop simply due to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Can’t really comment on the trans fluid change because i have a 6 speed tranny. As far as brake pads, I got 107,000 on my OEM pads and they still weren’t 100% wore out. The fronts and tears still had about 15% left on them. If you don’t tow or haul heavy items and are gentle on the brakes, I’d let them go. With 50% still showing, you’re good for a while in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I would think you’d be fine to run that tire. If your OEM tire is a 275/55R20, your only going up in height from 31.91” to 32.34” and in width your going from 10.83” to 11.22”. I think you’ll be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m going to have to pass on this. While it’s a great deal, by the time I get it reprogrammed and buy the usb, I’ll be in it for close to $500 and could use that money on more important things other than having car play. I wish you luck with selling it and am sorry for making you wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Skyline, does this HMI have navigation or is it the non nav one?
  14. Ok. Do you know the part number of the USB hub? I found one one ebay but want to make sure it's going to work. Like I said, give me until Friday to decide. I am pretty certain I will go this route and cancel my iPad's data plan, which I use for waze now.
  15. I was wondering about that. Skyline, does this come with the USB hub too?
  16. I’m interested in this deal. Give me until Friday this week to confirm please. So just to understand, it comes with everything I’ll need to add CarPlay and android auto to my 15 Sierra? I just need it programmed to my vin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I had to call around and ask if they road balance. A lot of places don’t. Apparently the machine is pretty pricy. If you don’t ask for it they just use a regular balancer. To road balance my tires, it was over $100. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don’t have them on my truck and don’t have any issues. When I got my wheel and tire combo I also had a vibration I couldn’t figure out. I had the tires rebalanced several times with no luck. I finally had them road balanced and one tire needed rotated 180 degrees and that fixed the issue. No more vibration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The transmission issue sounds maybe like your torque is going out. The rear vision system is most likely a fuse. I had the same thing and that’s what it was. I’d check all the fuses inside the cab again. I’m also wondering if running your battery dead to where it needed jumped a couple times didn’t mess with the computer some? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m not really sure but I think they bent it back in place. Tailgate wasn’t replaced even though that’s the fix I asked for. Once I showed them the issue and cause, they fixed it and I haven’t had an issue since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. These batteries give zero warning when they die. Mine worked just fine then wouldn’t do anything the next morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. My brakes did the same thing after I replaced them. I took them back apart and greased the slides and the clips again. After doing that, no more noise from the brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I say run it. Don’t see anything that would affect its performance of holding the tire/wheel against where it sits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. In my experience, these updates aren’t the latest compared to google maps or Waze. Hell, the lane I live on had its name changed back in 07 and the wife’s 2017 Acadia still showed the old road name. Needless to say I feel they are a waste of money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
