  1. The two cables (48") are all that are needed to switch the bumper plug and the bed plug, correct? I'm assuming the 4-pin plug once relocated to the bump will work as it should?
  2. While in park with the truck running, hold the end call/mute button on the steering wheel for approximately 10 seconds until the radio goes blank and does a forced restart. See if that does anything to fix your problem.
  3. When in park with the truck running, hold the end call/mute button on the steering wheel for approximately 10 seconds and the radio will do a hard restart. See if that fixes your issue. Not sure if the audio problem is with your phone or with any audio source, but if it's with your phone make sure it's running the latest update and try deleting and repairing it.
  4. Appreciate the input and I'm glad you compared them to the 5100s. I have ran the 5100s on several previous HDs and on my current HD and current 1/2 ton and I have always thought they were a little too stiff. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and give the Fox 2.5s a shot! I shouldn't have much preload on them as well since they will be going on an AT4 and set at 1.5" of lift. Realistically my truck is 90% highway miles (drive a ton for work) and 10% offroad so I'm glad to hear you like the street ride of the Fox coilovers.
  5. I really liked my DK UCAs that I had. How do the Fox 2.5" coilovers ride? Worth the money in your opinion? Contemplating a BDS lift with them and I'm wondering what to expect vs going with some 2" replacement shocks.
  6. Interested in this as well. I'm contemplating going with a BDS kit for my '24 and am also wondering if the 2.5 Fox coilovers are worth the price for the ride? I've always ran Bilstein 5100s and want to try something different this go around.
  7. I wanted it under the rear so it isn't under the driver or passenger seat causing vibrations since those are the two main seats that get used. Plus the wiring was closer to hook up to behind the rear seat. Tried to mount it behind the rear seat (including cutting some foam) and couldn't get it to work how I wanted it.
  8. I have a 10" Kicker hideaway sub under my rear seat. I have never heard an OEM GM kicker sub kit, so I can't compare, but for the size of the hideaway sub, it is fairly impressive. It adds enough bass to be enjoyable without being all distorted. I tied into the factory Bose wiring behind the backseat and mounted the volume control under the dash for easy adjusting, even though most of the time, I don't mess with it.
  9. Roger that, thanks AJMBLAZER
  10. I already have a 2" level on my 2022.5 RST Z71 with the 6.2L with the factory Ranchos, which are shot. Has anyone used the Bilstein 24-293297 front shocks and set them at the stock height, and kept the level spacer in? I don't want to lose my level, and with the 6.2L, the shocks don't give the 2" level I currently have. Or will the Trailboss version (24-309509) on the highest setting get me the 2" of level without the leveling spacers?
  11. We had a 2022 Tahoe with the 3.0 Duramax. It was a great vehicle; I believe the lifetime mileage was north of 25 MPG. Unfortunately, it got totaled at 38,000 miles. We just picked up a 2024 Tahoe with the 3.0 on Saturday. Hopefully, this one treats us just as well. No worries about the oil pump belt, and I believe the recommended service was increased as Jay P mentioned. I've only found the Dexos D oil at Autozone near me. I did find this kit on Amazon, which includes the filter. https://a.co/d/eDLOjuG
  12. I was in your shoes with my truck last fall. I went with the Borla S-Type exhaust because it's their "medium" loudness exhaust. It is exactly what I was looking for. Nice noticeable rumble when normal driving, no drone, and a nice growl when I stand on it. My only slight gripe would be when I cold start it, it is very loud until it idles down to normal. Just an FYI if you don't like your muffler delete.
  13. I'm running 1.25" BORA spacers with factory wheels and 285/65R20 tires on my 2022.5 without any issues. Running conservative width spacers doesn't cause any more wear than running more offset wheels, within reason. I've ran spacers and/or offset wheels for several hundreds of thousands of miles on several different trucks used for towing and hauling and have yet to have an issue with wheel bearings. If you go with some unreasonable spacer width and/or crazy offset, you're likely to have bad results.
  14. Correct, once the power and ground are connected, the mirror will autodim when a bright light is detected by the sensor. I tested it with a flashlight before I put everything back together.
  15. Got the auto dimming mirror with the harness installed in my 2022 refresh over the weekend. Works as it should,; much better than having to manually dim the mirror when some dick won't turn off their brights as I pass them.
  16. Not sure if you already did this or not, but this wiring schematic from GM Upfitter may help. I'm going to try tackling this once my mirror and harness show up in my 2022 refreshed RST. Looks like Pin 5 (BK/WH) should be the negative and Pin 8 (WT) will be the positive. Not too concerned about using the reverse wire on the harness. Thanks for everyone's help on this, hope I can make it work!
  17. Thanks fellas!
  18. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck modifying a few items on the refreshed 2022s, particularly with the 6.2. Wonder if a product is available to help with all these issues, but I haven't had any luck finding one as of yet. 1. I'd like to disable the auto start/stop. I believe there is a currently product or two out that does just this. Looks like a pain to install since the entire dash needs to come apart, but it is doable. 2. Has anyone had any success or heard of any products coming out that disable the DFM or whatever they're calling it nowadays? I've read you can put it in L9 and that may do the trick, but looking for another solution. 3. My truck will shut off after 20 or 30 minutes of idling, even with the keyfob in the truck. Very annoying when I work out the truck. I had this issue with my '21 Duramax but was able to get the computer reflashed at the dealer and now it'll run until I shut it off. I've spoken with a tech at my local dealer and as of right now, he couldn't find any updates that allow this to be extended or disabled. Thanks for your help.
  19. Very slick idea OP. I think I am going to do this if I can figure out how to install with the radar unit as Jaedee and Jethro71 mentioned. Also Boost Auto sells a Cargo in Drive Wiring Harness but it looks like it's currently backordered which would allow these lights (if wired to the cargo lights) to be used in any gear besides park from the sounds of it. Definitely going to need that or find out which wires to use to make my own harness.
  20. Agreed it’s annoying AF that it’s missing in my refreshed truck.
  21. Next time I’m at the dealer I plan on mentioning the tailgate issue. Thanks for the update!
  22. My 2022 refreshed RST doesn't lock the inner tailgate and has the sticker on the tailgate that says how to do it as well. My truck is also missing the parking sensors, slated for a later retrofit (wondering if that'll ever happen). Interested to see what you hear back.
  23. Not exactly what you’re trying to do, but I tried stuffing a slim Kicker sub like the JBL you posted behind the rear seat (2022.5 crew cab) and there wasn’t enough room. I ended up mounting it in the drivers side of the underseat storage and it’s now closer to the upgraded Bose stereo in my HD. FYI I tapped into the Bose wiring behind the rear seat to make the sub work instead of tapping into the rear door speakers.
