  1. Throw it in M5, and a run a few tanks of E85 through the system if you are E85 capable.
  2. Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner A/T
  3. Sounds like you would have had to upgrade to a Trail Boss 2LT for the extra goodies. That is where the auto makers get you. The Custom Boss is pretty cool looking. Comes with Halogen lights. I don't know why GM didn't just keep the same LED squinted looking headlights on the custom.
  4. Buy a cheap daily driver and keep her parked in the garage That's what I do during winter months.
  5. Seems to be so much emphasis on a catch can and afm delete. To each their own but some of these posts prove it is not a necessity.
  6. RAM and FORD trucks shake also. Probably Toyota and Nissan as well. A few Tidbits I came across regarding RAM and FORD trucks...…….. From the RAM forum on a 2018 RAM 1500: Does anyone know about the rear end / rear body shake at 55 mph + on Ram Trucks? Was wondering if anyone has had any of the shaking above 55 with their truck? In relation to the rear section, seats, center armrest shaking. Mine does it but I am not so sure if its that bad or it is just the character of the truck on certain types of roads. Lets put it this way, when I drove mine home on the first day I was surprised because my test drive before purchase was 40 and under. The speed limit is 75 on I-40 here and wow is it vibrator / shaker from the seat back.. Any info, input or service bulletins would be appreciated. From the FORD forum on a 2016 F-150: 2016 F150 Vibration at highway speeds I just purchased a 16 King Ranch Supercrew 5.5' bed. Out of the gate it was vibrating. Starting at 60mph and gradually getting worse up to 75mph. Have taken it back to the dealer multiple times. They have replaced the tires twice, wheels once, and drive shaft once. While it is much improved, it's still there. Like many other posts I have read, the dealer and Ford engineering now say "the truck is in spec" on the vibration. All I can tell you is that it doesn't ride anything like my '06 F150 supercrew. When asked about the effect of the aluminum body, they tell me that even though they reduced overall weight, they increased weight in the frame. The dealer tells me I'm just feeling the difference of a more rigid truck frame. Truth or hogwash? I'm out of ideas and willing to try anything. You don't expect these things from a 65k brand new truck! Looks like K2 owners are not alone nor have been with the shaking/vibration issues. The auto industry has gone to hell. Hopefully those who jump ship will not find themselves hopping from one frying pan into another. Consumers are paying more and receiving less (in quality) these days.
  7. Many of the earlier 14 and 15 models have a bit of a gear whine sound that while somewhat annoying, seem to cause no harm. Your noise could fall into that category.
  8. Are you still under warranty? Might want to take it in and have the dealer take a peek or listen. Our K2 trucks naturally sound like sewing machines, especially the more miles that are on them.
  9. Z71 package/decal dates back to GMT 400 platform trucks when they came out in 1988
  10. One possibility could be the Vacuum Pump. It is known to Tick Tick prior to failing. I do not hear a "Chirp" on your video but more of a long pause repeating Tick. Can you get in the area of it to see if that is the culprit?
  11. Some also delete the 3rd dummy cat.
  12. The GMC Sierra has an X31 emblem on the bed in that area. Or a 4x4 emblem for Non Off road package trucks. It is GMC's version of the Chevy Z71 package
  13. There is a thread on it somewhere...… no fix as of yet. Conspiracy theories include harmonic exhaust vibration, torque converter problems and a couple of other guesses.
  14. Most of what I have heard is that the vibrations are felt in the floorboard and steering wheel starting at 1500 RPMs and Ranging up to about 1800 RPMS whether in V4 or V8
  15. Is that a Police Intercept version? LOL Where are the factory Aluminum Wheels?
  16. I didn't think so. No locking gas door on any GM truck I can ever recall.
  17. When you are not very tall or average height at best, power adjustable pedals are a blessing. Moving the pedals toward the body Keeps your torso away from the steering wheel instead of having to slide the seat forward. Safety over form is why I will always advocate for power adjustable pedals
  18. No more power adjustable foot pedals or mirror turn signal indicators either...…
  19. That would be a great deal
