  1. I'd be pissed they left my truck sitting outside in the rain with the windows cracked.
  2. Denali has better quality leather and real wood trim.
  3. Interesting, I must not pay close enough attention.
  4. I'm assuming your truck has the trailering/tow mirrors since it's an HD? I've never noticed it on my 1500 with regular auto-dimming mirrors. But, its been a little while since I've driven in the dark. I'll have to check next time I'm out after sunset.
  5. Mine feels that it's EXTREMELY important that I know I'm low on washer fluid. It gave me the message 3 separate times during my 15 minute drive this morning.
  6. There's no need for you to justify yourself, dude. My Sierra has been problem free, but I can remember having my '14 Silverado that developed the notorious driveline vibration issues that just sucked. I wanted to love the truck so much, but I just couldn't. Every time I drove the thing I just hated the experience. Luckily, my dealer made me a good deal and I decided to give GM another try. My '16 Silverado was also problem free and I enjoyed every mile of ownership. I seriously considered going back to Ford though, and if the dealer hadn't done me right, I probably would have. GM corporate was of very little help. Like I said, enjoy your Ram.
  7. The grass isn't always greener. You'll be back, they always come back. All jokes aside, I do wish you well with the Ram. Hopefully it gives you years of trouble free service.
  8. I was able to get a 2020 Crew Cab 1500 Denali Standard Box up to $70,230 without accessories. I wouldn't be surprised if the 2022 exceeds $75K in it's most expensive form.
  9. I hope they make it optional, part of a 'cargo box access package' or something like that. I personally think they are ugly as hell, and I do not want them on my truck. I have no problem getting into my bed with the current bumper steps and Multi-Pro tailgate, and I didn't have a problem getting into my K2 with just the bumper steps either. I do understand the desire to have them though, and hope GM does offer them, just please allow me to opt out. ?
  10. Raptor and Ram TRX customers. I'm sure they'll be a hit with the Hollywood crowd as well. GM will have no trouble finding buyers for these, just as Ford has no trouble finding customers for a $75K Raptor with zero rebates.
  11. It was a mid-year change. Initially the 10-speed was standard. Now, the 10-speed is a roughly $200 upcharge over the 8-speed. This goes for the SLE, Elevation, SLT and Denali with the 5.3 as well.
  12. I'll miss the column shifter, last piece of old-school truckiness out there. I'm looking forward to the 12+" screen. I'm glad they did it like Ford and not vertical like Ram. The vertical screen just isn't my cup of tea. Super Cruise will be a nice addition as well. I do hope they give the 5.3 a boost in power.
  13. Most volume stores here are only offering MSRP - GM rebates. That usually comes out to around $7-$8,000 off sticker.
  14. Have you actually spoken with anyone at GM, or are you relying on your dealership for communication and they are telling you "GM doesn't have enough valve springs to fix your truck"? Sounds like your dealer might be dicking you around and trying to get you to accept a half-ass repair, not to the GM TSB specs.
  15. Pretty much all full-size trucks still have a fixed mast antenna. The only one that doesn't is the new-gen Ram.
  16. Welcome aboard. Here's the section for your truck. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/forum/174-2015-2019-silverado-hd-sierra-hd/

  18. All of the GMCs have LED lights, even the absolute base models.
  19. That sucks. I hope they get it figured out for you quickly. Most of the 3.0 owners on here rave about how good they are.
  20. In fairness, the GM twins are outselling the F-Series YTD. Granted, it's only by about 100 units and Ford will probably claw it back by year end, but it's something.
  21. It was. Pandemic screwed it up, so we have to wait another year.

You also have to option the truck with bucket seats. Can't get a leather bench on RST. Unfortunately, you cannot get leather seats on the Sierra Elevation trim. You'll have to look into an aftermarket option, such as Katzkin.
  23. Most dealerships in my neck of the woods are still being stingy with discounts despite inventory levels starting to stabilize.
  24. Good to hear you made it out safe.
