  1. I occasionally miss the overhead sunglasses holder from my 16, the rest of the truck more than makes up for it though.
  2. I have both the GM all-weather liners and the factory spray in. No complaints with either. Granted, I have a tonneau and my truck is garage kept, so the liner doesn't get the sun exposure yours might.
  3. I third checking in with a reputable PDR guy.
  4. It's from the GM order guide. https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2020&butID=1&regionID=1&divisionID=1&vehicleID=21795&type=0 You go to 'color and trim' and select 'SEO Paint' from the drop down menu.
  5. Folded bath towel works fine for me.
  6. Guess I better stop driving in the rain...
  7. Yup, previous owner lowered it. Looks like my old truck, except mine was stock height.
  8. No HUD on SLT, just the collision warning. You can adjust the gap using the button on the upper left side of the steering wheel, above the heated steering wheel button.
  9. The GMT900 pickups had them for a few years, then GM got rid of them. Same with the heated washer fluid. Why they kept them on the SUVs and not the trucks, Who knows. Probably the same reason the K2 SUVs had push button start while the K2 pickups still used a regular key.
  10. Inventory is thin around here too, but most dealers have had some trucks start showing up in the last month.
  11. There are a number of SEO (Special Equipment Option) colors available that do not show up in the brochures or on the GM Build and Price tools. None of them are Corvette Rapid Blue, but there are a few different blues available. Arrival Blue Metallic from the GMT800s is one of them. May require extended lead time. 1 - Required and only available with (L3B) 2.7L Turbo engine. 2 - Requires (A2X) 10-way power driver seat. 3 - Not available on Regular Cab models.
  12. Interesting. Mine must have come back on when GM was having their free 'crisis assist services' promotion due to the Coronavirus.
  13. I had it when the truck was new. The road would be green, yellow or red depending upon traffic conditions. After the trial was over I re-subbed to XM radio, but I didn't get the traffic stuff. They charge extra for the traffic/weather service and I wasn't willing to pay it when there are much better options out there for less. I noticed during the last 'free-trial event' they had about a month ago that traffic was showing up again. I won't be subscribing to them again, their customer service and programming have kept going downhill year after year.
  14. Glad you and your daughter are safe!
  15. Yup. I didn't think the halogen projectors on my 14 LTZ were that bad. They obviously weren't as good as the LEDs on my 2016 LTZ or my 19 SLT, but they seemed adequate at the time.
  16. Nope, that was the Sierra.
  17. Mobil 1 Full Synthetic at the dealership every 5K. Did the first change at around 1,000 miles.
  18. I don't understand why you guys care so much what Grumpy thinks of your truck. To the point where you're coming in here to argue with him (and those of similar mindset). He likes his little single cab, that's fine. More power to him. I like my T1 Crew Cab. The world continues to spin.
  19. Same. It's definitely a looker. Seems to have the grunt to back it up too. My neighbors X7 sounds a whole lot meaner than my truck.
  20. I almost always disable it. Sometimes I forget. I always shut it off after the first auto-stop in those cases.
  21. Most Crew Cab Standard Boxes seem to come from Ft. Wayne, no matter the trim. Most trucks with the power running boards also seem to be Ft. Wayne built. My SLT Sierra Crew Short is from Ft. Wayne (January 2019 build date), most other trucks configured like mine seem to be 3 VIN though, except the very early 2018 production models. That is correct, Double Cabs are all from Ft. Wayne. Regular Cab 1500s are now built in Mexico. Crew Cabs are split.
  22. They are SEO (Special Equipment Option), they have to be custom ordered as most dealers do not stock them. 01U Special Exterior Color All normally body colored non-sheet metal parts will be black including front fender extensions, cab spoiler on Double & Crew cabs and LT trim door handles. May require extended lead time. 23. Damn, an SEO color and a 6.2? That's got to be a pretty rare configuration.
  24. The Sierra Denali and Silverado High Country both have real leather seating and real wood trim. The lower trims have the faux coated leather.
  25. If that were the case, they would have removed them from the Sierra too. They only removed them from Silverados. In other words, GM is saying: "You want door lock buttons on your rear doors? You can buy the more expensive truck."
